As our pop up shop is based in Preston I feel a fashion orientated shop would go down well as Preston is a student based town there is a high need for fashion however Preston has very little clothes shops, which means most students turn to online shopping. There is a few down sides to online shopping such as you cannot try the clothes on witch stops many people from buying online.
My idea for a pop up shop would be a fun and exciting solution to this. I feel it would be a good idea to make a virtual pop up shop in the form of a wardrobe where you can walk in and your picture is automatically taken, uploaded to the system, then you can touch the touch screen walls to activate your virtual shopping experience. You can browse through hundreds of different outfits and see what they would look like using the photo that was taken on entry. You can also order the clothes from the wardrobe available for collection or delivery.

This is a really good idea Lindsey and I love the sound of it . Preston has so little choice when it comes to some good retail therapy , ok Topshop & River Island, but that's as far as it goes for me . If I want an outfit or even some new products i always result in the Charity shops , online shopping or go back to Liverpool. With this idea put in place I feel it would be very successful and certainly attract numerous amounts of students and the local community to the hub. Its fresh , exciting and will certainly be appreciated by a lot of consumers looking for a new shopping experience.
